Naba Energy Pty Ltd is a Botswana-owned energy trading company operating from Plot 1943, Morwa Industrial Site. The company was established to supply the range of energy products that Botswana households, businesses and government institutions rely on every day: LPG gas, bulk petrol and fuel, coal, firewood, industrial gas, solar systems, and oils and lubricants.
Naba Energy is led by Chief Executive Officer Godfrey H Akanyang, under whose direction the company has built out its trading operation across all seven of these product lines, rather than specialising narrowly in one fuel type. That breadth is a deliberate choice: it allows a single customer, whether a household, a business or a government department, to source multiple energy needs from one supplier rather than coordinating between several.
One supplier, seven product lines
Our product range spans everyday household needs and heavy industrial supply. On the domestic side, we supply LPG cylinder gas for cooking and firewood for the household braai. On the commercial and industrial side, we supply bulk petrol and diesel for fleet operators, coal for boilers and agricultural heating, industrial gas for welding and fabrication workshops, and oils and lubricants for vehicles and machinery. We also design, supply and install complete solar systems for homes, businesses and remote sites.
This range is organised so that each product line is handled properly on its own terms, with supply, delivery and account arrangements suited to how that particular product is actually used, while still giving customers the convenience of a single point of contact.
Serving private, business and government customers
Naba Energy supplies customers of every size, from a single household ordering an LPG cylinder refill through to businesses running fleets, farms and workshops, and government departments and parastatals sourcing fuel, coal or gas under larger institutional arrangements. Our team works with each customer to size orders, delivery frequency and product mix to what they actually need, rather than applying a one-size approach across very different types of buyers.
Reliable supply is central to how we operate. For businesses and institutions especially, a missed delivery can stop a kitchen, a construction site or a production line, so we place a strong emphasis on scheduling deliveries in advance and keeping customers informed on availability.
